Mission:
Health Volunteers Overseas (HVO) is a private non-profit organization dedicated to improving the availabilty and quality of health care in developing countries through the training and education of local health care providers.

Specialities of volunteers needed:
Anesthesiology,Dermatology,General Practice,Infectious Disease,Internal Medicine,Orthopedics,Pediatrics
And
Specialty needs include oral & maxillofacial surgery, hand surgery, wound and burn care specialists.

Regions/geographic locale of most projects:
Africa,Asia,Caribean,Central America
And
Current sites include: Bhutan, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Honduras, India, Laos, Malawi, Peru, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam.

Religious affiliations:
none

Additional comments:
